Description:
At 353 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Town Creek, or 13 miles southeast of Muscle Shoals, moving east at 5
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Moulton, Town Creek, Leighton, Courtland, North Courtland, Mt Hope,
La Grange, Tharptown, Ne Smith, and Wren.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
