Description:
At 248 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Woodville, or 12 miles west of Scottsboro, moving west at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Huntsville, Scottsboro, Redstone Arsenal, Owens Cross Roads, Grant,
Skyline, Gurley, Section, Woodville, and Alabama A And M University.
