Description:
At 710 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Jemison, moving northwest at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Alabaster, Pelham, Calera, Montevallo, Jemison, Wilton, Ashby,
Brierfield Ironworks Park, American Village, University Of
Montevallo, Maylene, Shelby County Airport, Minooka Park, Ballantrae,
Marvel, Camp Branch, Saddle Lake Farms, Siluria, Alabaster Veterans
Park, and Bounds Lake.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
central Alabama.
