At 428 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Courtland, or 7 miles north of Moulton, moving west at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Decatur, Athens, Moulton, Trinity, Town Creek, Courtland, Tanner, North Courtland, Hillsboro, and Chalybeate Springs.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for north central and northwestern Alabama.
