Description:
At 420 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Moundville, or 11 miles southwest of Tuscaloosa, moving west at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Moundville, Shelton State Community College, Mound State Park,
Fosters, Ralph, Romulus, Fosters Boat Landing, and Hull.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
west central Alabama.
