At 340 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
American Village, or over Montevallo, moving west at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Alabaster, Montevallo, West Blocton, Wilton, American Village,
University Of Montevallo, Maylene, North Bibb, Marvel, Alabaster
Veterans Park, Green Pond, Hebron, and Dogwood.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

central and west central Alabama.
