At 319 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fort McClellan, moving west at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Anniston, Jacksonville, Saks, Cobb Town, Fort McClellan, West
End-Cobb Town, Weaver, Ohatchee, Blue Mountain, Bynum, Alexandria,
and Anniston Army Depot.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
east central Alabama.
