Description:
At 515 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles south of Bridgeport to near Pisgah.
Movement was northeast at 90 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Scottsboro, Fort Payne, Rainsville, Henagar, Stevenson, Sylvania,
Fyffe, Hollywood, Powell, and Geraldine.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
northeastern Alabama.
