At 300 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
West Greene, or 11 miles northwest of Eutaw, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Moundville, Akron, Union, New West Greene, West Greene, Knoxville,
Snoddy, Moundville Airport, Clinton, Pleasant Ridge, Lewiston,
Elliots Creek, and Havana.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
west central Alabama.
