At 233 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cooksville, or 14 miles southeast of Macon, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Aliceville, Memphis, New West Greene, Panola, West Greene, Geiger,
Gainesville Lake Campground, Warsaw, Pleasant Ridge, Cochrane, and
George Downer Airport.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
west central Alabama.
