Description:
At 228 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Belgreen, or near Russellville, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Russellville, Phil Campbell, Littleville, Belgreen, Hodges, Mt Hope,
Cedar Creek Reservoir, Srygley Church, La Grange, and Tharptown.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
northwestern Alabama.
