At 211 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Detroit, or 9 miles west of Hamilton, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hamilton, Haleyville, Hackleburg, Brinn, Weston, Bear Creek, Tessner, Shottsville, Rankin Fite Airport, Upper Bear Creek Reservoir, Byrd, Bexar, and Pigeye.
