At 700 PM CDT, Another line of thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall will move into the warned area and be capable of producing additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches over the next hour. Renewed flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. Small streams and creeks are already near bankfull and could quickly HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Downtown Mobile, Midtown Mobile, Prichard, Tillmans Corner, Saraland, Bay Minette, Atmore, Chickasaw, Satsuma, Citronelle, Creola, Chunchula, Stockton, McCullough, Gulfcrest, Axis, Uriah, Mount Vernon, Calvert and Semmes.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
