* Until 900 AM MST /1000 AM MDT/.
* At 405 AM MST /505 AM MDT/, a river gauge on the Moenkopi Wash near
Moenkopi has reported a rise of 11 feet since 1230 AM MST, reaching
major flood stage. This is due to heavy rainfall upstream earlier
Tuesday. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding along the Moenkopi Wash.

mile markers 476 and 478. State Route 264 between mile markers 323
and 324.
This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Moenkopi Wash, Little Colorado River, Hamblin Wash, Fivemile Wash
and Begashibito Wash.
Instruction:
Flooding will continue this morning along the Moenkopi Wash, from
Moenkopi down to the confluence with the Little Colorado River. Roads
and driveways may be washed away in places. If you encounter flood
waters...climb to safety.
