Description:
At 325 PM CDT /225 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms
producing heavy rain in On State Highway 54, 10 miles north of Van
Horn, a vehicle was washed off of the road. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 3 inches in 1
hour. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
