Southern Platte County in southeastern Wyoming... * Until 545 PM MDT. * At 515 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 11 miles north of Horse Creek, or 28 miles northeast of Laramie, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Laramie and southern Platte Counties.
