Description:
At 522 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fort Steele Historic Site, or 18 miles east of Rawlins, moving
northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Hanna, Elk Mountain, and Fort Steele Historic Site.
This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 226 and
267.
