Observations and webcams along Interstate 80 are showing patchy, dense freezing fog, especially in Cheyenne. Poor visibility is expected to continue along Interstate 80 from Cheyenne through the Summit. Brief periods of improving visibility are possible, likely improving to 1 mile or greater then slowly dropping back to below half a mile. This is expected to continue through mid-day. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling along Interstate 80. Be prepared for sudden drops in visibility and slick icy roadways on bridges and overpasses.
