Description: 
At 1211 AM MDT, Radar indicates up to 1.30 inches of rainfall has fallen over the northeast side of the Elf fire burn scar in short time. While rainfall has decreased for now, additional rainfall is still possible. The threat of flash flooding and debris flow continues. HAZARD...Flash flooding and debris flow caused by thunderstorms in and around the Northern Elk Burn Area. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flooding of areas in and downstream of the Northern Elk Burn Area...mainly on northeast side of burn area. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Parkman.
Instruction: 
Life threatening flooding of creeks, roads, and normally dry coulees in and downstream of the Northern Elk burn area is likely. In addition to the flash flooding, rockslides, mudslides, and debris flows are possible in steep terrain. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
