Description:
At 458 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Brooklyn, or near Oregon, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Eastern Madison, Sun Prairie, Fitchburg, Stoughton, Oregon,
McFarland, Monona, Cottage Grove, Deerfield, Cambridge, Brooklyn, and
Utica.
This includes the following highways...
U.S. Highway 12 between mile markers 265 and 273.
U.S. Highway 151 near mile marker 104.
Interstate 39/90 between mile markers 138 and 154.
Interstate 94 between mile markers 241 and 254.
