Description:
At 613 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
La Farge, or 11 miles east of Viroqua, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Vernon, northwestern Richland and south central Monroe Counties,
including the following locations... Rockton, Oil City, Wildcat
Mountain State Park, Trippville, Bartons Corners, Mount Tabor,
Valley, Highway 82 And County D, Irish Ridge, and Potts Corners.
