At 643 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Tripoli, or 26 miles west of Rhinelander, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Willow Reservoir around 655 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Mc Naughton, Lower Tomahawk River Natural Area, Harshaw, Hazelhurst, Woodruff, Clifford, Tomahawk River Pines Natural Area, Clear Lake Campground, Indian Mounds Campground, and Mccord.
