Description:
At 330 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Lake Delton, or over Wisconsin Dells, moving
northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Portage, Wisconsin Dells, Lake Delton, Packwaukee, Oxford, Endeavor,
and Briggsville.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 90/94 between mile markers 102 and 107.
Interstate 39 between mile markers 86 and 108.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for south central
Wisconsin.
