Southwestern Eau Claire County in west central Wisconsin...
* Until 700 PM CDT.
* At 612 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles south of
Altoona, or 15 miles south of Eau Claire, moving northeast at 30
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Allen, Foster, Brackett, Altoona, Fall Creek and Augusta.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
