April 15, 2026 - 10:16am
Expires:
April 15, 2026 - 10:30pm
Description:
Another round of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening will pose
a threat for heavy rain. This could cause additional chances for
flash flooding, rises on area creeks and streams, and will likely
exacerbate ongoing river flooding across portions of Southwest and
Central Wisconsin. Given the saturated soils across much of this
area from previous rain events over the past few days, additional
rainfall could create hazardous conditions.

* WHERE...Portions of central, southwest, and west central
Wisconsin, including the following counties, in central Wisconsin,
Adams and Juneau. In southwest Wisconsin, Crawford, Grant,
Richland and Vernon. In west central Wisconsin, Monroe.
* WHEN...From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An additional .5 to 1.5 inches of rain may fall this
afternoon into tonight as heavy rain is expected from
thunderstorms.
