...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Wisconsin... Wolf River at Lake Poygan affecting Waushara and Winnebago Counties. Wolf River at New London affecting Waupaca, Outagamie and Winnebago Counties. Wolf River near Shiocton affecting Shawano, Waupaca and Outagamie Counties. For the Lower Wolf River...including Shiocton, New London, Lake Poygan...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Wolf River near Shiocton. * WHEN...Until Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Floodwaters begin to approach homes near the river in the Shiocton area. This mainly includes homes along Island and Mill Streets. Many seasonal structures are surrounded by water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:10 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 6:10 AM CDT Saturday was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Thursday morning and continue falling to 10.1 feet Saturday, May 2. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
