ROCK RIVER near LEBANON-3 E-HWY MM BRIDGE affecting Dodge County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Rock River at Watertown.
* WHEN...Until Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 5.5 feet, There is widespread lowland flooding in
rural areas around Watertown. About 6 miles upstream near Ixonia,
Wayside park along Highway 16 and Kanow Park are flooded and Rock
River Road is impacted.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 5.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 PM CDT Thursday was 5.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to gradually fall and go
below flood stage early Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 5.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
5.6 feet on 07/22/2010.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet
and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim,
or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters,
stop, turn around and go another way.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
