Wolf River near Shiocton affecting Outagamie, Waupaca and Shawano Counties. For the Lower Wolf River...including Shiocton, New London...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Wolf River near Shiocton. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Floodwaters begin to approach homes near the river in the Shiocton area. This mainly includes homes along Island and Mill Streets. Many seasonal structures are surrounded by water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:30 AM CDT Thursday was 13.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 11.9 feet Thursday, April 30. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
