Wisconsin River At Portage affecting Columbia County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Fox River at Princeton. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, Floodwaters are in the back yards of some homes along South Farmer, Jefferson, North Mechanic and West Water Streets in Princeton. There is general minor flooding in the Princeton area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 9.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM CDT Monday was 9.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain around 9.6 feet tonight before then falling below flood stage Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 9.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.4 feet on 05/11/2012. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
