Crawfish River At Milford affecting Jefferson County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Crawfish River at Milford. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, There is widespread flooding of agricultural land and lowland. There is widespread flooding in Riverbend Campground, about 5 miles upstream of Milford. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 8.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:00 PM CDT Monday was 8.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.5 feet early Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.5 feet on 04/03/1960. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
