following rivers in Wisconsin...
Wolf River at New London affecting Winnebago, Outagamie and Waupaca
Counties.
For the Lower Wolf River...including Shiocton, New London, Lake
Poygan...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
This approaches the flood of record.
* WHERE...Wolf River at New London.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Widespread flooding of shoreline property
is occurring from the New London area to Lake Poygan. Water reaches
the top of the retaining wall in New London. Emergency management
reports widespread flooding is occurring along the Wolf River down
to New London.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 9.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 11:30 AM CDT Tuesday was 9.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.1 feet
Friday evening.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.0
feet on 04/05/1952.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Emergency management reports widespread flooding is occurring near
the Wolf River down to New London. Motorists should not attempt to
