Description:
* WHAT...For the Blizzard Warning, blizzard conditions. Winds
gusting as high as 55 mph. For the Winter Weather Advisory, areas
of blowing snow expected. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...Buffalo, Hughes, Jones, Lyman, and Stanley Counties.
* WHEN...For the Blizzard Warning, until 1 PM CDT /noon MDT/ this
afternoon. For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 4 PM CDT /3 PM
MDT/ this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing
snow, frequently reducing visibility below a half mile, will make
travel dangerous, especially in open country. Strong winds could
cause tree damage.
Instruction:
Use caution while traveling, especially in open areas. The latest
road conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
