Total snow accumulations around 6 to 12 inches, with a 30 to 50 percent chance of exceeding 12 inches. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast North Dakota, including the James River Valley. * WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 7 PM CDT this evening. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Friday morning through Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes through Saturday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A brief period of freezing rain could fall across far southern North Dakota early Friday morning.
