* WHAT...Periods of heavy snow. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches possible, greatest over the hills south of the Yellowstone River. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Northeastern Yellowstone, Northern Big Horn, Southwestern Yellowstone, Treasure, and Northern Rosebud. * WHEN...From 6 PM Thursday to 6 PM MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult due to snow, areas of blowing snow and poor visibility. This includes I-94 from Custer to Hysham and Forsyth. Cool, wet and breezy conditions will be hazardous for young livestock. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow is expected Thursday night into Friday morning.
