Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches in the valleys. 5 to 10 inches between Essex and Marias Pass on Highway 2. * WHERE...Highway 83 Bigfork to Swan Lake, Polebridge, Essex, Glacier National Park, Marias Pass, and Bad Rock Canyon. * WHEN...From 6 AM Thursday to noon MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...For MODERATE winter weather impacts, expect disruptions to normal activities. Hazardous traveling conditions. Use extra caution while driving. Closures and disruptions to infrastructure may occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Localized heavier snowfall amounts are anticipated along Highway 83 between Ferndale and Swan Lake. Heavy, wet snow may cause localized power outages and tree damage.
