Description:
* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, mixed precipitation
expected, including pockets of light freezing rain. Snow
accumulations an inch or less. Ice accumulations of a light glaze.
For the Winter Storm Watch, periods of heavy snow. Total snow
accumulations between 6 and 12 inches possible. Winds could gust as
high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...Bighorn Canyon and Southern Big Horn.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 9 AM MDT this
morning. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Thursday evening through
Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...For the advisory, travel will be impacted by poor
visibility and slick or slushy conditions on roads. This includes
I-90 from Crow Agency to Aberdeen Hill. For the Winter Storm Watch,
difficult travel conditions due to snow, poor visibility and some
blowing snow. Cool, wet and windy conditions will be hazardous for
young livestock.
