Description:
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Strong winds combined with falling
snow will cause blowing snow tonight. Total snow accumulations 1
to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Minnesota and
northeast North Dakota.
* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 AM CDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Blowing snow will lead
to areas of quick and sudden reductions to visibility, making
travel difficult, especially in rural areas that are prone to
blowing snow. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
evening and Friday morning commutes. Strong winds could cause tree
damage.
