Description:
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations between one
tenth to one quarter of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Alpena, Cheboygan, Emmet, Montmorency, and Presque Isle
Counties.
* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 6 PM EDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An initial brief mix of snow/sleet/freezing
rain is expected to change to all freezing rain later this
morning. Temperatures are expected to warm above freezing from
south to north through the afternoon.
Instruction:
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible
power outages.
