* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow
accumulations between 1 and 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45
mph leading to blowing snow this evening. For the Winter Storm
Watch, heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow and sleet
accumulations between 10 and 18 inches and ice accumulations up to
one quarter of an inch possible. Winds could gust as high as 45
mph.
* WHERE...Charlevoix County.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 2 AM EDT Saturday.
For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Saturday night through
Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice.
Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could
impact the Friday evening and Monday morning commutes. Gusty winds
could bring down tree branches.
