Description:
* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1
and 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EDT /10 AM CDT/ Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday
morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cellular nature of snow as well as lingering
25 to 40 mph wind gusts will allow for variable visibility
affecting travel. Snow is accumulating on roads so use caution
while driving as roads could be slippery.
