Description:
* WHAT...Light to moderate snow. Total snow accumulations 5 to 12
inches near the crest, including Donner Pass. Locally higher
accumulations over peaks. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
* WHERE...West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada County above 6000 feet.
* WHEN...From 5 AM Wednesday to 8 AM PDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will initially be at 6500-7000
feet, before lowering to 6000-6500 feet Wednesday evening.
