...ANOTHER PERIOD OF SNOW FOR THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PANHANDLE
SATURDAY...
.Widespread precipitation continues across the coastal and

sea level have been rather low from Icy Strait and Juneau
southward due to temperatures at sea level already reaching the
mid 30s this morning with temperatures continuing to be steady or
slowly rising into midday. That temperature trend is expected to
continue this afternoon so any additional snow accumulation is
expected to be light. Haines and Yakutat, in contrast have been
below freezing all morning and with various reports of 4 to 6
inches in the Haines and Haines Highway area this morning and
around 5 inches at Yakutat. Yakutat will have the precip bands
move out by 1 pm. Haines is expected to stay snow into the
evening.
