...MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY
MORNING...
.Bands of snow showers continue to move southwest to northeast
across southeast Alaska through Tuesday morning, primarily for
Juneau southward. These snow showers may be moderate to heavy at
times, resulting in variable snow amounts across the region.
* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches.
* WHERE...City and Borough of Juneau and Prince of Wales Island.
* WHEN...Until 4 AM AKDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Downtown Juneau, Douglas, and Lemon Creek
are expected to receive the bulk of the accumulation. Areas from
Auke Bay and northward are expected to receive less than 3
inches. Remainder of the area will see variable amounts due to
the nature of these snow showers, across the region.

winter weather.
