...SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY MORNING..
.Bands of snow showers will continue to move west to east across
southeast Alaska Sunday night into Monday morning. These snow
showers may be moderate to heavy at times, resulting in variable
snow amounts across the region. Under the heaviest snow showers
showers, expect visibilities to be reduced to one mile or less
with isolated areas seeing upwards of 3 to 5 inches of snowfall
by Monday morning.
* WHAT...Snow showers. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3
inches. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches.
* WHERE...City and Borough of Juneau.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM AKDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the morning commute with visibilities of one mile
or less in heavier snow.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest snowfall accumulations will be
towards Downtown Juneau and Douglas. Due to the nature of these
snow showers, snow accumulations and impacts will be highly
variable across the area.

winter weather.
