Description:
* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations
between 1 and 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
Visibility reduced to a half mile or less at times.
* WHERE...Central Alaska Peninsula, Northern Alaska Peninsula, and
Southern Alaska Peninsula.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM AKDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Visibilities reduced to one half mile or less due to
blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty northwest winds combined with
widespread snow showers will cause significantly reduced
visibilities in blowing snow. The worst conditions are expected
along the coast between Pilot Point and Nelson Lagoon. Conditions
will slowly improve later this morning as snow showers gradually
diminish.
