Description:
* WHAT...Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations around one
tenth of an inch across the northern half of Jefferson County and
across the higher terrain of Lewis county.
* WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis Counties. The greatest ice
accumulations are expected near the Saint Lawrence River and the
Tug Hill.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the commute this
evening and the Friday morning commute.
Instruction:
Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will result in slippery
roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while
driving.
