* WHAT...For the Blizzard Warning, blizzard conditions expected.
Total snow accumulations up to 6 to 12 inches. Winds gusting as
high as 55 mph. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible.
Total snow accumulations up to 1 to 2 feet possible. Winds could
gust as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Olympics.
* WHEN...For the Blizzard Warning, from 6 PM Wednesday to 5 AM PDT
Thursday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Wednesday night
through late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Very
strong winds could cause extensive tree damage.
Instruction:
Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle. Prepare for possible power outages.
