Description:
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 14 and
24 inches with localized higher amounts possible. Winds gusting as
high as 45 mph may result in near blizzard conditions later Sunday
into Monday.
* WHERE...Oneida, Vilas, Florence, Forest, Northern Marinette County,
Northern Oconto County, and Southern Marinette counties.
* WHEN...From 1 AM Sunday to 4 PM CDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible with
potential for whiteout conditions. Gusty winds could bring down
tree branches and cause power outages. The Monday morning commute
will be impacted.
Instruction:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for the
state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
People should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.
