Description:
* WHAT...For the first Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow. Additional
snow accumulations up to two inches. For the second Winter Storm
Warning, heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 15
and 20 inches except between 9 and 16 inches for northern Bayfield
County. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Bayfield County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Red
Cliff Band. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National
Lakeshore.
* WHEN...For the first Winter Storm Warning, until 7 PM CDT this
evening. For the second Winter Storm Warning, from 1 AM Sunday to
7 AM CDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Friday evening and Monday morning
commutes.
