Description:
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 12
inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Hamilton and Northern Herkimer Counties.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. Heavy snow will reduce
visibility to less than a half mile at times. Maximum snowfall
rates will reach 1 inch per hour at times.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will develop this afternoon and will
become heavy at times. Snow will persist in most areas tonight
into early Saturday afternoon.
Instruction:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
